Mud Run Testimonial: Daniel Woody

Daniel Woody's testimonial of the Hollis Adams Mud Run

Unsure of whether or not you should register for the Mud Run? Here’s what one of our runners, Daniel Woody, had to say about last year’s event:

I thought the Mud Run last year was awesome! Although, I made a serious miscalculation in my footwear … Don’t wear boots! The whole course was amazing, but I think my favorite parts were the natural obstacles through the creek. There’s nothing quite as satisfying as conquering what Mother Nature puts in front of you!

The atmosphere was fantastic as well! Everyone was cheering everyone else on, and I even had people join me on their second time through the course, just to be my personal cheerleaders. How great is that?!

Then, you come across this amazing final obstacle (wall climb and water slide, into a muddy water pit). It’s a great way to end the race, as long as you don’t have friends pushing you back into the water pit, like I had! They really added a few seconds to my overall time! 😉 In the end, it’s all worth it, because everyone’s there to have fun and support a great cause. Not to mention the great chicken and beer!

Don’t miss out. Sign up for the Hollis Adams Mud Run today. #HAMRtime
